“I think everything is in price for Tata Motors at ₹650. Investor sentiment is negative. I think it is in price. The company sales getting affected, it is also in price. Maybe I think the impact on the margin would come in the September quarter, that also appears to be in price by and large. Because I think on the whole, the business of the company, say even except this kind of a situation, I think is not looking bad at all. On the contrary, I think with good amount of value coming on the tariff front, including for the European region, I believe companies like Tata Motors which have a portfolio of new vehicles, including electric vehicles in JLR as well, I believe the company is in a good position. I think the knee-jerk reaction had to happen, which has happened in the price. So, this could be a buying opportunity if market gives further downside into the stock,” says Deven Choksey, DRChoksey Finserv.
