Deven Choksey, Managing Director of DRChoksey Finserv, said Asian Paints’ Q2 performance marks a turnaround led by a recovery in volume growth and improved margins driven by softer crude and derivative prices.
He noted that with crude remaining in a “benign range,” input cost pressures that hurt margins in earlier quarters are now easing, supporting stronger profitability. Choksey added that competitive pressures in the paints sector have also stabilised, allowing Asian Paints to regain steady volume momentum after several subdued quarters.
