Stock Market Today: Indian equity markets opened lower on Thursday, tracking weak global cues and cautious investor sentiment.
The BSE Sensex opened at 81,947.31, down 619.06 points, or 0.75 per cent, from its previous close of 82,566.37.
The Nifty 50 also started the session in the red. It opened at 25,247.55, falling 171.35 points, or 0.67 per cent, compared with its previous close of 25,418.90.
