Stock Market Today: Indian equity benchmarks opened lower on Wednesday, February 4, tracking cautious global cues and some profit-taking after the recent rally.
The BSE Sensex fell 267.63 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 83,471.50 at 9:16 am. The index had closed at 83,739.13 in the previous session and opened lower at 83,252.06.
The NSE Nifty 50 was down 110.30 points, or 0.43 per cent, at 25,617.25. The benchmark had ended Tuesday at 25,727.55 and opened today at 25,675.05.
