The move will enable POWERGRID to invest more in transmission projects, including UHVAC and HVDC networks, support renewable energy evacuation toward the 500 GW non-fossil target, and strengthen competition in tariff-based bidding for critical infrastructure.Tata Group stocks | Tata Sons has deferred a decision on extending Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran’s term following Tuesday’s board meeting, with the matter now slated for discussion in June, sources told CNBC-TV18. Sources said Noel Tata sought certain conditions to be linked to the reappointment, citing losses in some group businesses. With no consensus reached, the discussion was deferred. Chandrasekaran will continue as Chairman until February 2027 as previously approved.Hindalco Industries Ltd | The company said its wholly owned subsidiary Novelis Inc. has entered into a subscription agreement with AV Minerals (Netherlands) N.V. to issue 13,33,333 common shares at $150 per share, aggregating to nearly $200 million. AV Minerals is the sole shareholder of Novelis and a wholly owned arm of Hindalco.Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd | The pharma major said it has received a communication from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stating that the regulator has concluded its probe into alleged improper payments and does not intend to recommend enforcement action at this time.Waaree Energies Ltd | The company said its wholly owned arm, Waaree Forever Energies Private Ltd, has received a Letter of Award from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited for a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat. The one-time domestic order comes with a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement from the scheduled commencement of supply date.Schaeffler India Ltd | The company reported a 35.9% year-on-year rise in Q4 net profit to ₹322.3 crore, while revenue grew 27.5% to ₹2,724 crore. EBITDA increased 30.8% to ₹484.5 crore, with margins improving to 17.8% from 17.3% a year ago. The board has recommended a dividend of ₹35 per equity share (face value ₹2) for the year ended December 31, 2025, payable within 30 days of the AGM if approved by shareholders.Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd | RVNL has secured a ₹270.22 crore contract from Central Railway for setting up a 220/132/55 KV traction substation and associated works in the Daund–Solapur section under EPC mode, aimed at meeting a 3,000 MT loading target, the company said in a filing.Hexaware Technologies Ltd | The company has expanded its collaboration with Amazon Web Services to roll out AI-enabled software development lifecycle solutions for enterprises.
