TCS Partners With OpenAI
Tata Consultancy Services, which is the largest IT company in India, announced through an exchange filing that the Tata Group, Tata Consultancy Services, and OpenAI have entered into a multi-dimensional strategic partnership that will drive AI-powered innovation across enterprise, consumer, and social sectors.
Furthermore, this partnership spans multiple high-impact areas, including powering AI-led innovation across Tata Group companies. The collaboration will focus on setting up AI infrastructure.

Scope of Partnership
Some of the key focal points of this partnership include building industry-specific Agentic AI solutions, joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, and developing AI infrastructure. In addition, as indicated before, the integration will not be limited to TCS but the Tata Group at large, and therefore will induct Enterprise ChatGPT with the company and its employees.
Amid the ongoing India AI Impact Summit, IT majors have put their best foot forward amid concerns of the impact that AI may have on these Tech behemoths.
Sam Altman of OpenAI shared his thoughts and said, “India is already leading the way in AI adoption, and with its talent, ambition, and strong government support, it is well placed to help shape its future."
N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, said, “This deep collaboration between OpenAI and Tata Group marks a major milestone in India’s vision to become a global leader in AI. We are pleased to partner with OpenAI to create state-of-the-art AI infrastructure in India."
The shares of TCS have seen a period of decline in the recent past. The IT company closed the previous session in the red and has suffered a slump of 14.82%, taking the total share price to ₹2,694.
