The order covers the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 2*25 KV Traction Overhead Equipment and associated activities at the Yavatmal-Digras section of the Nagpur Division in Central Railways.

The work is to be completed within 18 months from the start date. The contract, awarded by a domestic entity, is not part of any related party transaction, and neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in Rail Vikas Nigam.
First Quarter Results
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd reported a sharp decline in earnings for the June quarter, with net profit falling 49.8% year-on-year to ₹30 crore, compared with ₹59.8 crore a year earlier.
Revenue dropped 16.3% to ₹910.6 crore from ₹1,088.2 crore in the same quarter last year, while EBITDA fell 33.5% to ₹71.2 crore from ₹107 crore. Operating margins narrowed to 7.8% from 9.8% in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Alongside its results, the company’s Board of Directors approved the reappointment of Indrajit Mookerjee as Executive Director & Vice Chairman for a period of one year from April 2, 2026, and Sudipta Mukherjee as Managing Director for five years from June 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
