Texmaco MRVC Order
In two separate exchange filings released on February 16, the company said that it has bagged an order worth ₹219.18 crore from Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd (MRVC).
The MRVC is the body responsible for maintaining the busiest suburban network in India, in Mumbai.
This order entails Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Signalling equipment/gears in connection with the construction of the proposed line in Mumbai Suburban under (MUTP-IIIA).
This project is expected to be completed in 36 months from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
South Western Railway Order
In addition to this, the company also announced that it has bagged another order, this time from South Western Railway. This particular order entails undertaking comprehensive annual maintenance and breakdown restoration of Overhead Equipment (OHE) and power supply installations across the Mysore Division for a period of two-years.
This project covers 1,046 track kilometers (TKM) of electrification infrastructure and associated electrical assets. The total contract value is ₹27.67 crore (inclusive of GST)..
In Q3, the company reported a net profit of ₹42.8 crore in the third quarter, compared with ₹76.7 crore in the same period last year, recording a decline of 44.2% year-on-year.
When we take a quick look at the company shares, the shares of Texmaco Rail surged close to 10% at the high point and are now trading with gains of 8% or about ₹9. In the past week of trade, the company's shares have risen by 2%. The current price stands at ₹120, well short of its 52-week high mark of ₹189.00
