After suffering a brain stroke earlier in January, veteran actor Tiku Talsania has recovered remarkably and is once again doing what he loves best: acting. In addition to being healthy again, the well-liked actor proudly reports that he has finished four projects since his recuperation, demonstrating his true fortitude and tenacity.

In a heart-to-heart conversation, Tiku expressed deep gratitude towards those who supported him during his challenging time. “I am grateful to my friends, family, and the people who got me to the hospital in time. Thanks to the doctors who took extreme care of me. Somebody up there likes me, and of course, my people who love and prayed for me. I was surrounded by loved ones who made sure I could get back on my feet," he shared warmly.

Tiku, who is well-known for his memorable comedic parts in films like Ishq (1997), Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1993), and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin (1991), was taken to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after becoming seriously ill during a movie screening earlier this year. His wife, Deepti Talsania, later clarified that he had actually suffered a brain stroke, despite initial reports indicating a heart attack.

“He suffered a brain stroke, not a heart attack. He had gone to attend a film screening and started feeling unwell. He was immediately admitted to the hospital," Deepti explained at the time.

Fast forward nearly four months, Tikku is in high spirits and healthier than ever. “I am absolutely okay now. I have done about four movies since I got out of the hospital. I am where I belong — back in the saddle. I’m just so happy to be doing what I love again," he said, beaming with joy.

One of his upcoming projects is the Gujarati film Jai Mata Ji Let’s Rock. Talking about what attracted him to the project, he shared, “I really liked the script and the director’s vision. My character was very interesting, and since it’s a comedy, I thought it would be a lot of fun. It was a good script — how could I say no?"

Having worked on more than 200 films and television series over the course of his three-decade career, Tiku is still incredibly passionate about what he does. "I'll keep performing as long as the script is strong and I like the part. You read a script at some point and realise that this character is for you. His unwavering passion for acting was evident in every word as he concluded, "That feeling is what keeps me going."
