Top 10 richest people in the world as of July 2025 list: Global business leaders and entrepreneurs seem to have seen a rise in their wealth and net worth through innovation and strategic foresight as the Forbes’ list of the world’s billionaires rose to 3,028 and is worth $16.1 trillion in total in 2025.

With an estimated net worth of $393.1 billion, Elon Musk remains the richest man on earth as of July 2025. However, during June, he lost close to $16 billion, dropping to a net worth of $407 billion.

The illustrious name has sported the position since May 2024, and the previous year, it made history with its net worth exceeding a record $400 billion, mostly on account of SpaceX's valuation at $350 billion.

Larry Ellison, co-founder and chairman of Oracle, has moved up from fourth to second place on the list. His worth reached approximately $275.9 billion after an extraordinary increase of $56 billion since June, most of that coming from a 32 percent surge in Oracle's stock price.

NVIDIA CEO and co-founder Jensen Huang has climbed to the tenth position on the global list of the richest individuals, following a sharp rise in his net worth. His fortune grew by an estimated $20 billion, taking his total wealth to around $137 billion. This gain helped him surpass Amancio Ortega, the Spanish businessman behind the Zara brand, who now holds the twelfth position.

Meanwhile, the reshuffle at the top continued as US President Donald Trump moved ahead of Mark Zuckerberg of Meta and Jeff Bezos of Amazon, who are now ranked third and fourth, respectively.

The combined wealth of the world’s ten richest people now stands at $2 trillion, which is $100 billion more than it was on June 1. Of these ten, nine are American citizens. The only exception is Bernard Arnault of LVMH, who represents France.

As of July 8, 2025, these are the ten wealthiest individuals in the world, according to Forbes. These rankings are subject to change depending on fluctuations in global stock prices.
