2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, bringing a host of cosmetic enhancements and new features aimed at capturing festive season demand. Following the success of last year's special edition, the automaker will begin accepting bookings in the second week of October 2025, though pricing details remain under wraps.
Toyota hasn’t revealed the prices of the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition yet. The automaker is expected to reveal the price in coming days.
The Leader Edition receives notable styling updates to distinguish it from the standard model. A redesigned front grille features latticed slats with 'FORTUNER' lettering positioned above, complemented by blacked-out chrome trim and revised front and rear bumper spoilers. The SUV sports a contrasting blacked-out roof and rolls on striking 18-inch glossy black alloy wheels. A hood emblem and subtle chrome accents complete the exterior upgrades.

Buyers can select from four color options: Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver. All colors are available across both manual and automatic variants in the 4×2 configuration.
Inside, the Fortuner Leader Edition showcases a distinctive black-and-maroon dual-tone theme applied to the seats and door trims. While the overall cabin architecture remains familiar, Toyota has incorporated practical convenience features including auto-folding outside mirrors, illuminated scuff plates, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for enhanced safety.
The Leader Edition retains Toyota's proven 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine equipped with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger. This powerplant produces 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The special edition is exclusively offered in rear-wheel-drive configuration.
