This is after athleisure brand Lululemon announced that it will open its first store in India in the second half of 2026.

For this, Lululemon has partnered with Tata CLiQ. Not only for the first store, Tata CLiQ will also aid Lululemon in the local e-commerce stores in the market on Tata CLiQ Luxury and Tata CLiQ Fashion.

"The partnership will introduce lululemon’s innovative athletic and lifestyle apparel, footwear, and accessories to India, providing guests with high performance products to support a wide range of activities including yoga, running, training, tennis, and golf," Lululemon said in a statement.

Tata CLiQ has over 4,000 fashion brands and over 15 lakh styles under its umbrella. Tata CLiQ falls under Westside and its online presence.

According to a June 27 note by brokerage firm HDFC Securities, 6% of Westside's revenue came from online channels, including Westside.com, Tata CLiQ, and Tata Neu. The online business saw volume growth of 41% in financial year 2025.

Trent recently shared its quarterly update for the April-June period, where it projected revenue growth of 20%, which was well below the Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 35% over the last five years.

Out of the 25 analysts who have coverage on Trent, 18 of them have a "buy" rating, four say "hold", while three have a "sell" recommendation.

Shares of Trent ended 1.5% higher on Tuesday at ₹5,396. The stock is down 25% so far in 2025, making it its worst calendar year performance since 2008.
