Trent Q2 Results FY26 Preview, Expectations: Tata Group’s retail arm, Trent Ltd, will announce its financial results for the July–September quarter of FY26 on Friday, November 7, 2025.

In a stock exchange filing on October 15, the company informed that its board of directors will meet on the mentioned date to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025.

“A meeting of the board of directors of the company will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025,” Trent said in the filing.

Trent is expected to report steady revenue growth despite demand slowdown in the apparel and retail segment. Zee Business analysts expect revenue to rise nearly 19 per cent year-on-year to around Rs 4,800 crore, compared to Rs 4,036 crore in Q2 FY25.

EBITDA may increase by about 24.6 per cent to Rs 800 crore, while margins could improve to 16.7 per cent from 15.9 per cent in the year-ago period, supported by cost control measures.

However, higher depreciation—likely to jump 50–60 per cent due to store expansion—could limit profit growth. Net profit is projected to rise 6.4 per cent to Rs 450 crore from Rs 423 crore a year earlier.

Same-store sales growth (SSG) is expected to remain flat, while revenue per square foot may fall by around 13 per cent amid slower discretionary spending.

During the September quarter, Trent added 31 new Zudio outlets and six new Westside stores, extending its retail footprint across India.

In its business update released on October 6, the company reported standalone revenue from product sales at Rs 5,002 crore, up 17 per cent year-on-year. For the first half of FY26, revenue rose 19 per cent to Rs 10,063 crore.

Analysts said the continued store expansion and strong brand portfolio position Trent well for medium-term growth, though near-term demand headwinds may weigh on profitability.
