UCO Bank announced its financial results for the quarter ending on June 30, 2025 on Monday. The bank reported a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit for the first quarter of FY26 to ₹607 crore, compared to ₹551 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
It further posted a rise of nearly 7 per cent in its net interest income (NII) for the first quarter of FY26, reaching ₹2,403 crore compared to ₹2,254 crore in the corresponding period last year. NII represents the gap between the interest earned and the interest paid out.
Gross NPA for the quarter came in at 2.63 per cent, slightly lower than 2.69 per cent in the March quarter. Net NPA also declined to 0.45 per cent from 0.50 per cent in the previous quarter.
Provisions for the June quarter dropped sequentially, amounting to ₹616 crore compared to ₹663 crore in March.
