Shares of UltraTech Cement Ltd ended at ₹11,944.80, up by ₹211.60, or 1.80%, on the BSE.By Jomy Jos Pullokaran June 26, 2025, 8:53:01 PM IST (Published)2 Min ReadLeading cement maker UltraTech Cement Ltd on Thursday (June 26) announced the commissioning of its second cement grinding mill at its Maihar unit in Madhya Pradesh, adding 1.8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) to its production capacity.
"We are pleased to announce the commissioning of the second cement grinding mill with a capacity of 1.8 mtpa at the Company’s Unit located in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh, as part of the company’s ongoing expansion plan," said UltraTech Cement in a regulatory filing.

The first mill at the Maihar unit was commissioned in March 2025. With this addition, UltraTech’s consolidated domestic grey cement capacity now stands at 186.86 mtpa. Including its overseas operations, the company’s total global cement capacity has reached 192.26 mtpa.
Q4 numbers
UltraTech Cement's net profit came in at ₹2,482 crore, marginally lower than the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹2,500 crore. On a year-on-year basis, profit rose 10% from ₹2,258 crore last year.
The company's revenue stood at ₹23,063 crore in the January to March quarter, a growth of 13% from ₹20,419 crore last year. A CNBC-TV18 poll of analysts had projected the Q4 revenue to come in at ₹23,505 crore.

UltraTech's EBITDA saw growth of 12.6% to ₹4,618 crore from ₹4,114 crore it reported during the December quarter. EBITDA margin saw a contraction of 20 basis points on a year-on-year basis to 20% from 20.2% earlier.
Shares of UltraTech Cement Ltd ended at ₹11,944.80, up by ₹211.60, or 1.80%, on the BSE.
