The well-known screenwriter of popular films like Baahubali and RRR, V Vijayendra Prasad, recently gave an intriguing hint regarding the possible resurgence of one of Bollywood's most cherished productions. Speaking about his next projects to PTI, Prasad disclosed that he had met with Salman Khan over Eid to talk about the potential for a Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel.

"I met Salman last Eid. I narrated a line to him, he liked it. But let’s see what happens," Prasad shared, leaving fans eagerly anticipating further updates.

One of Salman Khan's most well-reviewed and financially successful films to date is the 2015 Kabir Khan-directed picture Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman's charming performance and the film's poignant story won over viewers all over the world. Fans now speculate about the possible continuation of the story, with talks reportedly underway, following this revelation, which has sparked a wave of excitement.

Inside sources have hinted that the duo, Prasad and Khan, have discussed a possible storyline that could evolve into Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. There are also whispers that director Kabir Khan might rejoin the project, reuniting the team that made the original film a massive success. However, as of now, no official announcement has been made, and discussions are still in the early stages.

In the same interview, Prasad also took a trip down memory lane, revealing a conversation he had with Aamir Khan in the past about an ambitious Mahabharata project. "Sometime ago, he (Aamir) came (to me) with an idea to make Mahabharata. I don’t know what happened afterwards," Prasad said. This adds another layer of intrigue, as Aamir Khan is also known to have been involved in various high-profile projects, making the potential of Mahabharata even more exciting.
