Vaibhav Suryavanshi recently amazed the world with his historic IPL record. The 14-year-old scored the second-fastest century in IPL history. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Preity Zinta, and Arjun Kapoor, have praised the young cricketer.

Preity took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) to shower praise on Sooryavanshi and tweeted, “Wow!!!  Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. What an incredible talent. Such a thrill to watch a stunning 35 ball century by this 14year old. This year IPL is lit ! The future of Indian cricket is bright. #Century #RRvGT #IPL2025 #VaibhavSooryavanshi.”

Arjun Kapoor also shared the video of the historic moment on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Take a bow, young man!!! Unreal!!! A 14-year-old living the dream… @vaibhav_suryavanshi09.”

The actor continued to laud Sooryavanshi in another Instagram Story and re-shared a social media post that reads, “14 saal ki umar mein log sapne dekhte hain, Vaibhav sapna nahi dekh raha, hume lag raha hain ki… hum sapna dekh rahe hain.”

Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi also tweeted to praise Sooryavanshi, “Boom! #vaibhavsuryavanshi. Second fastest IPL hundred EVER. This kid from Rajasthan Royals just showed everyone that age is just a number. Hundred off pure fire. Proof that your dreams don’t need permission or a birth certificate. So, whatever your game, whatever your stage, remember this name. Remember this moment. Go make your own history."

For the unversed, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 101 runs in just 38 balls against Gujarat Titans, becoming the fastest and youngest Indian to score a century in the IPL. His excellent innings led the Rajasthan Royals to an 8-wicket win.
