Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma turned 37 on May 1 and has received birthday wishes from her loved ones. However, her husband, Virat Kohli, took time from his busy IPL schedule to share a special wish for his ‘better half’.

The Indian cricketer shared a never-seen-before photo with Anushka and penned a birthday tribute. She wrote in the caption, “To my best friend, my life partner, my safe space, my best half, my everything.”

Virat added, “You’re the guiding light of all of our lives. We love you so much more everyday.” He concluded the caption by writing, “Happy birthday my love @anushkasharma.”

Virat’s birthday post came amidst the speculations of the cricketer and the actress being officially moved to London to raise their two kids.

The couple reportedly wanted to raise their kids outside the limelight, which could be tough for them in India. The couple keeps their personal life out of the public eye and often avoids putting their kids in the spotlight.

Virat and Anushka welcomed their first child, a daughter, Vamika, in January 2021, after they got married in December 2017 in Tuscany, Italy, in a private ceremony. The couple went on to welcome their second child, a baby boy, Akaay, in February 2024.

On the work front, Anushka was last seen in the 2018 film Zero. She wrapped up the shooting of Chakda Xpress, her biopic of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, in 2022. However, the actress has put her acting career on hold to focus on raising kids.
