Voltas Q4 FY25 Results Preview: Voltas, a Tata group consumer electronics company, is slated to report its financial results for the quarter and the year ended March 31 on May 7 (Wednesday). Analysts expect the country's largest air conditioning company to post a mixed set of earnings for the final three months of the fiscal year ending FY24-25. Currently, the company is focusing on increasing its market share.
According to Zee Business research, Voltas is set to post a net profit of Rs 239 crore for the January-March period as compared to Rs 114 crore in Q4FY24, marking a remarkable 109 per cent on-year increase.
Meanwhile, Voltas' March-quarter revenue for the previous fiscal year is projected to grow over 13 per cent to Rs 4,756 crore. In the year-ago period, the company's revenue was reported at Rs 4,202 crore.
Voltas is expected to register a substantial year-on-year increase of 81 per cent in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to Rs 344 crore for the March quarter, as per the research data.
On robust summer season off-take, analysts expect robust growth in the segment at 20 per cent. Also, margins in the segment are expected to improve 190 bps sequentially.
On Wednesday, in a lacklustre trade, Voltas shares ahead of its earnings later today traded with mild gains of 0.46 per cent or Rs 5.65 at Rs 1,235.3 apiece on the BSE.
The stock of Voltas has fallen as much as 36.5 per cent from its 52-week high price of Rs 1,946.2, with its 1-year return at -15 per cent.
