Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision at WAVES 2025, Lyca Group (UK-Europe) and Mahaveer Jain Films have partnered to create nine Indian feature films aimed at a worldwide audience.

Over the next two to three years, Lyca Productions, the production division of the UK-based Lyca Group, which is well-known for high-profile films like Robot 2.0, starring Rajinikanth, and Ponniyin Selvan I & II, which was directed by Mani Ratnam, has teamed up with Mahaveer Jain Films to produce powerful cinematic experiences.

This partnership directly advances PM Modi's WAVES initiative, which seeks to establish India as a major global centre for content creation.

At the WAVES Summit, Lyca Group Chairman Dr. Allirajah Subaskaran and Mahaveer Jain met with key government officials, including Information & Broadcasting Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Phadnavis, and Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Dr.L. Murugan.

During the meeting, both Subaskaran and Jain expressed their shared commitment to supporting the vision set forth by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They emphasized that India is fortunate to have a leader with such vision and sensitivity.

These films are an expression of gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, whose extraordinary and unrelenting efforts are creating a better future for the world and India, as well as for future generations.

Operating in 23 countries, the Lyca Group is a multinational conglomerate with a diversified portfolio that includes businesses in telecommunications, healthcare, travel, entertainment, and other sectors.

Mahaveer Jain Films, recognized for its collaboration on Uunchai with Rajshri Productions, is also working on exciting upcoming projects such as NaagZilla with Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan, an international thriller directed by Siddharth Anand featuring Vikrant Massey as Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a grounded friendship film with Imtiaz Ali, and a biopic on Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand.

These films pay a moving homage to Hon. Prime Minister Modi, whose unwavering commitment and extraordinary vision are opening the door to a better and more prosperous future for the entire world—not just India—and leaving a prosperous legacy for coming generations.
