WB Madhyamik 10th Result 2025 Live: West Bengal WBBSE Madhyamik Results at 9 AM @ wbbse.wb.gov.in; Direct link here

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will announce the Madhyamik (Class 10th) Results 2025 today, May 2, at 9:00 AM. The official announcement will be made by the President, Ad-hoc Committee, WBBSE. As per the official notice, students will be able to access their results online from 9:45 AM at wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.

The board has further informed that schools can collect original mark sheets and certificates from their respective Camp Offices of WBBSE starting 10:00 AM on May 2.

Over 9.84 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams this year, with girls (5,55,950) outnumbering boys. The exams were held from February 10 to February 22, with internal assessments continuing till April 2. The exams were conducted in a single morning shift from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM.

Students can access their digital scorecards using their roll number (as per their admit card) and date of birth. The online mark sheet will be provisional. Students must collect the official documents from their schools once distributed.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage was 83.61%, with Kalimpong district performing the best. Those who fail to meet the minimum pass marks (34% aggregate) will be eligible to apply for Post Publication Review (PPR), Scrutiny (PPS), or sit for supplementary exams later.

To get results by SMS, type WB 10[roll number] and send it to 56263 or 56070. Your marks will be sent in SMS format, which can be saved for future use.

In case of high traffic on the official website, students can also check their WBBSE Madhyamik results through the WBBSE mobile app, available for free on the Google Play Store, or via SMS by sending their roll number to the designated number provided by the board.

Over the past few years, the WB Madhyamik exam results have shown slight fluctuations in performance. In 2023, the pass rate was 86.15%, while 2022 recorded 86.60%. Due to the pandemic, 2021 saw an alternate assessment method with over 90% of students securing first division. Tracking these trends can help students and educators evaluate performance patterns.

This year, a total of 9,84,753 students registered for the WB Madhyamik examination. Of these, 5,55,950 were girls, surpassing the number of boys. The exams were held between February 10 and February 22, while internal assessments and practical exams continued till April 2, showcasing a robust and comprehensive academic schedule.

To pass the WB Madhyamik exams, students must secure at least 34% marks in each subject and overall. Those who fail to meet this requirement in one or more subjects can apply for Post Publication Review (PPR) or Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS). They may also get a chance to appear for supplementary exams, which are usually announced shortly after results.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for the Madhyamik exam stood at 83.61%. Kalimpong district recorded the highest performance with 96.26%. The state topper secured 693 out of 700 marks, which is a remarkable 99% score.
