Promoter THCL Travel Holding Cyprus said the stake sale was undertaken to fund certain legal and compliance expenses.

The promoter also clarified that it does not foresee any further stake sale in the near future.

The stock has gained in one of the last three trading sessions.

The company recently reported a mixed Q3FY26 results. In the December quarter, Yatra Online posted a 17% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹8.3 crore, compared with ₹10 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue rose 9% year-on-year to ₹256.8 crore from ₹235.3 crore. Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to ₹24.7 crore from ₹17.5 crore a year ago, while the Ebitda margin expanded to 19% from 17%.

"Looking ahead, the company will remain focused on scaling high-margin segments, deepening technology capabilities, and driving sustainable long-term value for stakeholders," Siddhartha Gupta, CIO at Yatra, had said earlier.

All five analysts tracking the company maintain a 'Buy' rating on the stock.

Shares of Yatra Online closed 2.13% higher at ₹159 apiece on Wednesday.
