The government launched 'Your Money, Your Right' ('Aapki Punji, Aapka Adhikar') on October 4, 2025 by to create awareness among every citizen that their money is safe and they can easily get it back. With getting excellent responses from public, the government is going to launch campaign's second phase on October 24, 2025. The campaign is led by the Department of Financial Services, and continues till December 2025.

Through this 3-month campaign government aims to inform people that they can recover any money deposited in their name with various financial institutions. These include:
The government believes that people's hard-earned money, wherever it is, remains their rightful owner.
The entire mission is being implemented using a 3A strategy that stands for Awareness, Access and Action.
This campaign is helping the people living in towns across the country are now able to access information about their money easily.

With this three-month nationwide campaign, awareness camps will be organized every week in different states. The Finance Ministry says that thousands of people have already received money back from their old accounts under this initiative, and its benefits will reach millions of people. A digital assistance will be provided and people will be informed about how to claim their money online. Digital platforms such as the RBI UDGAM portal and other government websites will be used for this. People can check if they have any unclaimed money in their name by entering their PAN, Aadhaar, and bank details.
