Anil Singhvi Stock Picks: DAM Capital, Lupin, LIC Among top buys; Jindal Steel, CG Consumer on sell list

Published on 07/11/2025 11:10 AM

With markets trading lower on Friday, Zee Business Managing Editor and market expert Anil Singhvi has shared his latest trading ideas for the week, highlighting a balanced mix of buy and sell calls based on companies’ quarterly earnings and market trends. Singhvi’s strategy focuses on result-driven opportunities across sectors such as capital goods, pharma, and financial services, while maintaining caution on commodity-linked counters showing weakness.

DAM Capital (Cash):

Anil Singhvi has turned bullish on DAM Capital following strong results across all parameters. The company’s solid performance and a heavy IPO pipeline are expected to drive growth in the next two quarters. Singhvi recommends a buy with a stop loss (SL) at Rs 252 and targets at Rs 260, Rs 265, and Rs 275.

Lupin Futures:

Pharma major Lupin continues to deliver exceptional numbers, aided by strong traction in its US business. Singhvi suggests a buy with SL at Rs 1,950 and upside targets at Rs 2,000, Rs 2,020, and Rs 2,042, citing the company’s robust export momentum and improving margins.

Cummins Futures:

Cummins India has reported strong performance on all fronts, posting 9 per cent gains in one month and 19 per cent in three months. Singhvi remains optimistic but advises investors to avoid chasing the stock on a sharp gap-up opening. His call: Buy with SL at Rs 4,295 and targets of Rs 4,370, Rs 4,420, and Rs 4,490.

LIC Futures:

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) exceeded market expectations in its latest quarterly results, showing improved profitability and higher premium growth. Singhvi recommends a buy with SL at Rs 885 and targets at Rs 910 and Rs 925.

Jindal Steel Futures:

Singhvi remains cautious on Jindal Steel due to weak global commodity sentiment amid a strong US dollar and sluggish domestic steel demand. He suggests a sell with SL at Rs 1,070 and targets at Rs 1,040, Rs 1,030, and Rs 1,020.

CG Consumer Futures:

After disappointing results across all operational parameters, Singhvi has issued a sell call on CG Consumer. Traders can short the stock with SL at Rs 285 and targets at Rs 275, Rs 270, and Rs 265.

Amber Enterprises Futures:

Amber Enterprises’ quarterly performance was “extremely weak,” according to Singhvi. He recommends selling with SL at Rs 7,800 and targets of Rs 7,610, Rs 7,525, and Rs 7,450.

Stocks with Mixed to Stable Outlook

Apollo Hospitals Futures:

Apollo Hospitals posted strong results in line with expectations, with shares already up 8 per cent over three months. Singhvi highlights support at Rs 7,610 and Rs 7,550, with higher levels at Rs 7,865 and Rs 7,910.

ABB Futures:

ABB India’s results were mixed — revenue growth remained robust but profitability missed expectations. Singhvi notes support levels at Rs 5,100 and Rs 5,050, and resistance near Rs 5,360 and Rs 5,415.

NHPC Futures:

Hydropower PSU NHPC reported decent results, slightly below Street estimates. Singhvi pegs support around Rs 80 and higher levels near Rs 85.
