Bajaj Housing Finance Share Price: Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance were trading in the green on Friday at Rs 109.67, up 0.27 per cent, even as the broader market remained weak. At the same time, Nifty 50 slipped 0.56 per cent to 25,367.40.
Global brokerage firm HSBC maintained its ‘reduce’ rating on Bajaj Housing Finance while cutting the target price to Rs 92 from Rs 100, implying limited upside from current levels.
Bajaj Housing Finance reported a strong set of Q2FY26 numbers on Thursday, with standalone net profit rising 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 643 crore, compared to Rs 546 crore in the same period last year. Revenue increased 14 per cent to Rs 2,755 crore from Rs 2,410 crore a year ago.
Sequentially, profit after tax rose 10 per cent from Rs 583 crore in Q1FY26, while revenue climbed 5.3 per cent over the previous quarter’s Rs 2,616 crore.
Net interest income (NII) jumped 34 per cent to Rs 956 crore in Q2FY26 versus Rs 713 crore a year earlier. Net interest margin (NIM) stood steady at 4 per cent, slightly down by 10 basis points from the year-ago period.
Assets under management (AUM) rose 24 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2.27 lakh crore. Within this, home loans grew 19 per cent, and loans against property surged 29 per cent. The company’s cost of funds fell by 34 basis points sequentially due to lower borrowing costs.
As of September 30, 2025, Bajaj Housing Finance’s net worth stood at Rs 21,170 crore.
The Bajaj Finance-promoted company made its Dalal Street debut in September 2024, listing at Rs 150 — a 114 per cent premium over the IPO issue price of Rs 70. The stock later hit an all-time high of Rs 188.50 but currently trades about 40 per cent below that level.
