Shares of Bharti Hexacom Ltd ended at ₹1,704.40, down by ₹48.60, or 2.77%, on the BSE.By Jomy Jos Pullokaran   May 13, 2025, 6:04:48 PM IST (Published)2 Min ReadBharti Airtel's arm, Bharti Hexacom Ltd, on Tuesday (May 13) reported a 110.4% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹468.4 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2025, up from ₹222.6 crore in Q4FY24.

The company clocked an exceptional gain of ₹88.2 crore from deferred tax proceeds.

Revenue from operations increased 22.5% YoY to ₹2,289 crore over ₹1,868 crore. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) jumped 33% to ₹1,167.8 crore compared to ₹877.8 crore a year ago. The EBITDA margin stood at 51% versus 51.2%.

As of March 31, 2025, the company had 28.58 million customers, an increase of 3.4% from 27.65 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Total minutes of usage on the network during the quarter were 95 billion, representing a growth of 4.9% against 91 billion YoY.

Smartphone data customer base stood at 21.5 million, increasing by 0.7 million quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and by two million YoY. Mobile data traffic grew 23.5% to 1,683 PBs during the quarter from 1,364 PBs in the corresponding quarter last year. Average mobile data usage per customer increased by 13% YoY to 27.7 GB/month against 24.5 GB/month.

By the end of the quarter, the company had 26,497 network towers, up from 25,704 network towers last year. The company had 81,840 mobile broadband base stations, marking a rise from 79,835 YoY, and 81,340 QoQ.

The board has recommended a final dividend of ₹10 per fully paid-up equity share of face value ₹5 each for FY25. The dividend is in proportion to the amount paid-up on each equity share. The final dividend, if approved, will be credited within 30 days from the date of the AGM.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Bharti Hexacom Ltd ended at ₹1,704.40, down by ₹48.60, or 2.77%, on the BSE.
