Eternal Q1 Results 2025 Live Updates: Stock gains ahead of earnings; expect strong revenue growth, PAT to fall sharply

Eternal Q1 Results 2025 Live Updates: Eternal, the operator of food delivery platform Zomato, will announce its Q1 results today. The company is expected to report a fall in its net profit for the first quarter of FY25 on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, while its revenue is estimated to witness a strong growth.

Eternal’s net profit in Q1FY26 is estimated to drop up to 70% YoY, weighed down by sustained losses from its quick commerce business Blinkit and elevated costs in its Going Out business, analysts said. The company’s revenue during the June quarter is expected to jump around 60% YoY, led by continued store additions by Blinkit, strong momentum in Hyperpure, and steady demand in food delivery. This shall help GMV surge 137% YoY.

EBITDA is set to jump on a sequential basis due to operating leverage, while margins are expected to remain under pressure. Analysts believe key things to watch out for in Eternal Q1 results include outlook on Blinkit, GOV growth, margin and profitability roadmap.

Eternal Q1 Results Live: Eternal’s other verticals – Hyperpure and Going Out are estimated to print 64.2% and 98.1% YoY growth, respectively. Competitive intensity may weigh on take rates (largely flat for Blinkit at 18.1%; food delivery may post 54 bps YoY gain to 21.5% in Q1, backed by ad revenue. For food delivery, adjusted EBITDAM may grow to 4.5% (11 bps QoQ), led by contribution margin gain. Expect Blinkit to maintain its contribution margin at 3.2% with adjusted EBITDAM losses of ₹2.1 billion in Q1, according to Elara Capital’s estimates. 

Eternal Q1 Results Live: Eternal’s Q1 revenue may grow 58.9%, mainly led by continued store additions by Blinkit (+270 in Q1E; total 1,571). This shall help GMV surge 136.7% YoY. In food delivery, early rains are expected to ease rider availability issues experienced during the peak summer, while also modest boost in order volumes. Expect GOV to grow 16.1% YoY, Elara Capital said.

JM Financial estimates Eternal’s consolidated revenue in Q1FY26 to grow 57.3% YoY to ₹6,617 crore and up by 13% QoQ. 

Eternal Q1 Results Live: Eternal is expected to report a consolidated adjusted net profit of ₹80 crore in the April-June quarter, registering a sharp fall of 69% from ₹250 crore in the year-ago quarter, according to JM Financial estimates. However, on a sequential basis, net profit is expected to jump 101% from ₹40 crore in the March quarter.
