The Chennai Centre of Excellence supports global adoption.By Srabastee Biswas  February 17, 2026, 5:56:30 PM IST (Published)2 Min ReadHexaware Technologies Limited has announced the launch of an open version of its RapidX® platform, on Tuesday, February 17, featuring native integration with Replit, an AI platform that converts natural-language descriptions into secure, production-ready enterprise software.

RapidX®, Hexaware’s agentic AI platform for software engineering, is designed to help enterprises accelerate the transition from rapid prototyping to production-ready applications. By combining RapidX® and Replit in a single interface, enterprises can validate ideas earlier, shorten decision cycles, and scale prototypes into enterprise-grade systems with stronger engineering governance. The integration also enables non-technical knowledge workers to participate directly in software creation.

The joint offering supports both greenfield and brownfield programmes, helping teams reduce delivery risk and improve time-to-value. To support implementation, the companies are launching dedicated Replit squads. The move marks an expansion of their strategic partnership aimed at embedding AI deeper into enterprise software engineering.

As part of the initiative, Hexaware has established a dedicated Centre of Excellence for AI in the Software Development Life Cycle at its Chennai facility to support large-scale adoption of AI-assisted delivery. The CoE will act as a global hub for RapidX®-powered delivery, applied research, and client collaboration, while enabling Hexaware’s engineering teams in agentic development practices.

Early engagements using the RapidX® and Replit integration have shown impact in areas including pharmaceutical commerce platform simulations, enterprise requirements clarification through natural language workflows, accelerated prototyping, and high-fidelity screen generation to maintain design consistency.
