To make train travel smoother and less crowded during the peak summer season, Indian Railways has introduced Unreserved Summer Special Trains between Bihar and Delhi. These trains are aimed at accommodating the heavy rush of passengers during the vacation period and will operate with general-class coaches only, offering travel at affordable fares.
The train (05317), consisting of general coaches, will run from Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal, connecting two state capitals.
The passenger train departs from Chhapra at 7:45 pm and arrives at Anand Vihar Terminal at 12:30 pm the following day. This service will operate on the 5th and 12th of July, 2025.
In the return direction, the train (05318) will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 3 pm and reach Chhapra at 10 am the next day. This train will run on July 6 and July 13. A total of two trips will be operated in each direction.
During the journey, these trains will halt at major stations including Gorakhpur Junction, Gonda Junction, Sitapur Junction, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly Junction, Moradabad Junction, and Kanpur Central. The halt durations at each station range from 2 to 10 minutes. Here is the list of all halt stations:
