The company’s existing manufacturing plant is located in Attivaram village in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. The new facility, or the Unit 2 New Facility, will be two times the size of the existing manufacturing unit adjacent to it, the company said.
The upcoming facility will aim to meet the rising demand from sectors such as infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centres, and renewable energy units, among others, the company said, adding that it will also aim at boosting capacity, creating jobs and bolstering the company’s pan-India presence.
The said expansion comes after the successful commissioning of Interarch’s AP Phase-1 manufacturing facility in September 2024. The ongoing construction is expected to be commissioned as per the schedule, by the end of June.
“This unit 2 expansion represents a major leap in our journey to scale up operations and serve the growing demand for high-performance pre-engineered structural steel solutions. This move underscores our long-term vision to be at the forefront of India’s infrastructure growth and to generate meaningful impact through technology, innovation, and employment creation,” Arvind Nanda, Managing Director of Interarch Building Solutions Ltd, said.
Shares of the company gained 2.8% to hit an intraday high of ₹1,865 per piece on Monday, May 19. It was up 1.73% at ₹1,845 apiece at 1.45 pm.
