The agreement pertains to the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor along the East Coast Road (ECR) from design chainage Km 11+480 to Km 11/800 (West Avenue Road) and up to Km 24+780 (East Coast Road), covering the stretch from Thiruvanmiyur to Uthandi in SH-49.
The project will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The concession agreement was signed on February 26, 2026.
The company had earlier intimated exchanges about the award of the project. The incorporation of the subsidiary was specifically for the implementation of this corridor.
At 2:25 pm on Thursday, shares of KNR Constructions were trading at ₹133.85 on the NSE, down 0.62%.

Earlier this month, KNR Constructions reported weak December quarter earnings, with net profit falling 58.7% year-on-year to ₹102.8 crore and revenue declining 12.4% to ₹743.2 crore.
