Kolkata-bound Alliance Air flight returns to Guwahati after mid-air technical snag

A major scare unfolded mid-air on Wednesday when an Alliance Air flight (9I756) from Guwahati to Kolkata encountered a sudden technical snag.
For a brief moment, tension gripped passengers before the pilots and crew took swift action to ensure their safety.
The flight, which had already taken off from Guwahati, was forced to return after the snag was detected. Following established safety protocols, the pilots safely landed the aircraft back at Guwahati Airport.
“All passengers were safely deboarded, and necessary arrangements were made,” the airline said in a statement. It added that an internal probe has been initiated to identify the cause of the malfunction.
Alliance Air further underlined its commitment to safety, stressing that all its aircraft undergo rigorous checks and regular maintenance before every departure.
