Balaji, who joined the board only a few quarters ago, said in his resignation letter that he was unable to dedicate sufficient time to his role.

The resignation was disclosed in line with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) listing obligations. Titan said there were no inter-se relationships requiring disclosure.

Part of the Tata Group, Titan is one of India’s largest consumer lifestyle companies, with businesses spanning jewellery, watches, eyewear and emerging categories such as wearables and fragrances.
