OnePlus 15R Launched: OnePlus has officially launched the second device in the OnePlus 15 series – the OnePlus 15R – globally at a starting price of Rs 44,999. According to he company, this flagship device is the first phone to launch globally with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 Gen 5 mobile platform co-defined by OnePlus.

"It combines the best hardware on the market with our commitment to giving our users the absolute best software experience. It really shows what happens when you turn the power on and the limits off," he added.

The OnePlus 15R comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 5th Gen mobile platform, co-defined and co-optimised by Qualcomm and OnePlus over 24 months. According to the company, this chipset has 36 per cent faster CPU speed, 11 per cent faster GPU speed and 46 per cent better AI performance compared to the previous generation chipset. Along with the new chipset, the OnePlus 15R also comes with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 ROM.

The OnePlus 15R packs a 7,400 mAh battery – the largest ever in a OnePlus flagship device – along with OnePlus' 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

The OnePlus 15R features a 165Hz LTPS 1.5K AMOLED display – the highest refresh rate screen OnePlus has ever offered. According to the company, this 6.83-inch display has 450 pixels per inch, and its brightness can go up to 1800 nits and can drop down to 1 nit when Reduce White Point is activated.

The OnePlus 15R is available in three colours: Charcoal Black, Mint Breeze, and Electric Violet. Both Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze feature Velvet Glass technology. The phone is protected by four different IP ratings – IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K.

The OnePlus 15R features a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus and a 50MP main camera, which uses the same IMX906 sensor found in the OnePlus 15, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 112-degree field of view.

The smartphone is available in two variants - 12+256GB and 12+512GB.

OnePlus 15R pre-bookings will begin from December 17 at 8:30 PM IST through the official website, official store app, Amazon and offline retail partners, with prices starting at Rs 44,999. It should be noted that customers who pre-book the OnePlus 15R for Rs 999 can get the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 (Harmonic Grey) for Rs 2,299 at no additional cost.
